i keep getting script run time and math errors, and as far as i can see, some of my csripted items wont work..
so i look like a stuffed duck when i walk now.

have spoken to live help, they said it sounds like server side stuff.
have written a bug report too..

nothings changed...

oh and when it comes to doing a rebake, i dont have and can't see anything that says ''client'' at the top of my screen where all the other game setting stuff is..

Soooo lost !!!!

Well on the mac, its control-option-d to activate the client/server menu.

As far as the script problems, it could be that one of the animations in the AO is missing due to the inventory problems. Maybe not.

If its an object you can transfer, I can take a look at it and see what's up with the script/object. If its not, i can give you one of the free ones I have and help you configure it with all of your animations.

Just ask me the next time you see me, or leave me an IM if I'm offline.

try to push the keys: Ctrl + shift + Alt + d (at the same time) that should give you the Client/Server dropmenu's on top of the screen

I have the same run time and math error messages, but they don't seem to affect me. Of course I don't have a sexy walk, but then that might look a little swishy............

Surprised

Hey Morrigan!

Fortunately, sexy walks are easy to come upon! They often come with women's shoes, either built into one of the shoes or as a separate animation that can be worn invisibly.

I see above where Tiessa has offered to give one for free, and I'd be happy to do the same. I'm sure I have some free ones floating about in my inventory.

If you want to get fancier, and are prepared to spend a little money, Abranimations has 2 female animation overrides (I use the second version, it seems very popular). This is worn invisibly and gives you a sexy walk, several standing poses and a ladylike sit, as well as a way cool landing and take off for flying. It overrides the normal behavior of your av, and you can switch it off and on. It can be annoying as it has to be switched off for other animations to work, such as poseballs and xcite. If you've ever seen someone type something like "/ao on" or "/ao off", that's what they were doing!

Hope this helps!

Love, Dakota

I do have a free AO that I can spend time loading with free animations I've collected - I will try to do that in the next day or two and then I can give it to Helena for general distribution to all Angels new and old who want it.

For myself, I use the one from Lost Dog because it has a HUD that you can click a button on to turn on/off the animation overrider (AO) or to turn on/off just the sit AO it also allows a few other nice options via menus. It comes preloaded with between 1-5 of each type of animation. Its a bit pricey, running about 1K, but has a lot of built-in, quality animations.

I also use MoodMixer, which has a simple walk AO, but I turn that portion off because it conflicts with my main AO and has average walk animations. What it does better, however, is it lets you choose "moods", of which there are 8 predefined ones with animations included, and it varies the standing animations based on your moods. So you can choose (from memory), "conversation", "bored", "slutty", "interested", etc. and you can have more than one mood on at a time - its all driven via a menuing system. It also, controls smiling and a few facial features, causing you to smile at a user defined interval/percentage. It was originally developed for U2, so I walk like Bono when I use its walk animation.

In my spare time, when I'm not dancing, shopping, chatting, or participating in other less polite to mention activities, I'm in the middle of writing my own than combines the best features of the two and expands upon them.

Now, I have to find a way to keep the guys from IMing me all the time to chat Smile I'm thinking of charging for conversation time - although some already pay for that Smile I'm having a bigger problem determining the best way to make Dakota and Brian less fun to hang out with and talk to Smile Perhaps she'll shoot me into orbit with her gun and in the years it will take me to parachute down, I can finish coding.

So, I made one last night.

I loaded it with a sexy walk animation, some sits (including ground), stands, and some flying animations. I gave Dakota, Melvin, and Patricia copies (whoever was there at the time). I also put a purchasable for $0 copy on Helena's desk. Its boxed like anthing that you'd buy in SL, just buy a copy (or have someone give it to you), put it on the ground, copy everything to your inventory and attach the only object in the package to one of your HUD spots (bottom right or left works the best).

I assume Helena will purchase a copy and put it wherever she wishes or give it to whomever she wishes and delete the one on her desk. So, by the time you read this it may no longer be there.

Its easily modifiable through editing the "Set 1" notecard inside it. Full instructions are provided in the package.

Go walk by some guys and turn their heads,

Tiessa
