We really want to keep Paradise Lost fresh and responsive to all of us!

One of the toughest jobs we have (well, ok..for me anyway) is coming up with great themes! We'd love to hear your ideas!

I can't guarantee we'll use them all, but we certainly will consider them.

Well, after tonight's discussion, it seems cleavage night may be very popular.

I was thinking of a few themes (some of these may already have been done, but I don't remember them):
James Bond (come as your favorite bond/bond girl/bond villain - guys in tuxes - yum Smile

Naughty School Girl (who cares what the guys come as Smile

Harem Night (again who cares what the guys come as Smile

Nurses and Doctors
Fire and Ice (come in your favorite fiery red or icy white outift)
Nuns and Priests (come on - its paradise lost, how much more sacriligious can you get)
Interns and Presidents Smile

House Maids and Masters (wear your little french maid outfits)
Military (guys in uniforms - yum)
Policemen/women (handcuffs and uniforms - double yum)
Beach Party (Bikinis and trunks)
You could do like the hat party only with wings, tails, sun glasses, strangest hair
Sexy Shoes (find the sexiest shoes you can)
Bling Party (everyone come sparkling as much as possible)
Punk Rock (everyone wear strangely colored/shaped hair and black)
Star Wars (light sabers and little gold bikini silks)
Latex Party (wear your favorite latex outfit - yay me!)
Leather Party (ditto)
Denim (wear those daisie dukes)
Satin/Silk
Gesture Party (show off your favorite gestures - this is a weak idea)
Underwater Party (is it possible to fill PL with water? or just add schools of fish and we could wear mermaid outfits or someting - another weak idea, needs work)
Kissing Party (guys vote on who kisses the best - each kiss may be no more than one single chat message and no repeats - test those cyber skills Smile

Godfather/Mafia (guys in suits with bad godfather impressions and their molls)
Wet T-Shirt Contest (i found one and its copy/transfer so we could provide it at the front door - guys vote on best breasts Smile

Slave Girl (wear your favorite silks and collars)
Animal Print (wear your favorite animal print clothing - needs a better name Smile

Swimsuit Contest (guys vote on who looks best in a swimsuit)
Movie Star (come dressed like your favorite movie star)
Bikers (leather and metal studs on everything)
Vegas Night (dress like a show girl and the guys dress like robert goulet or sigfried and roy - just kidding on the guy part)
Wizards and Witches (dunno - probably hard to find outfits)
Princesses and Knights (dunno - probably hard to find outfits - although if we could find a dragon the guys could come and rescue us)
Rock Star (Come dressed as your favorite rock star - bring your guitar)
Sexiest Outfit (wear that outfit that just screams *fuck me*)

The beauty contest seemed to work well for getting lots of people to PL - that's why I threw in a couple of contest parties.

Well, that should at least generate a few decent ideas.

Brainstorm is raging and I'm good at free association...

Okay some more thoughts on my way to work (some of them are really random and weak):
Vikings (Horned helmets for guys - blond pig tails, & chainmail bikinis for us)
Conan (guys w/ muscles & big swords, girls as slave girls or Red Sonya)
Adam & Eve (Wear your favorite fig leaf)
Luau (sp?) (grass skirts, coconut bras, & leis - give out leis at the front - too bad there isn't a way to allow them to be given to a girl by a guy and have it show - have a contest for the girl with the most leis - hey there may be a way to script this, I'll think about it more)
Fat Tuesday (the collecting leis brings me to a collecting beads theme in New Orleans idea - it'll bring out the guys if we're flashing our boobs to win beads like in New Orleans Wink

Easter (following on from Fat Tuesday comes Easter - wear those bunny ears and tails - have an Easter egg hunt or something like it with one of the eggs containing a coupon for a free night with one of us or something, guy's choice of girl maybe?)
Paris Night (wear your favorite beret and chat in your favorite bad french accent - may only be good for us Americans who can't actually *speak* French - oh, and if you do mime night, I'm not showing up - although that could combine with the gesture night one - speak only in gestures or animations - probably too hard to really pull off, but free association is ticking along)
Pirate Night (from the previous post's idea - anyone have an eyepatch? and we could all speak like pirates, arrrr! guys like pirates and grabbing lusty, slightly resisting wenches Smile

Romance Novel Night (guys who look like Fabio and lots of ripped bodices and grasping of raging manhoods Wink

Black And White Party (only wear black and white - guys in delicious black or white tuxes and we break out our slinkiest black or white dresses)
Corset And Garters Night (the Victorian theme below got me thinking of corsets - wear your favorite corset and garter belts - guys who knows?)
Rollerskate Party (everyone on skates - animations may conflict, who knows, it may looks stupid to be dancing in rollerskates, although zipping about on a plaza with a chase girls theme may work - nah, probably not workable - any other cool gadgets out there for a party theme?)
Hide And Seek or Tag (along the same thought processes as the chase girls idea - probably completely unworkable in SL - although maybe another reason to wear school girl outfits)
West Side Story (guys as punks/hooks, girls as....? - oh and by the way I'm trying to stay away from the whole criminal thing except for "innocent" criminal ideas like this - I'm not a big fan of the who pimp meme either for that matter - it encourages nasty/abusive behavior in guys, something I'd like to avoid - there's too much of that already. I like more "innocent" fun rather than the complete darkside of humanity - who would've guessed that I'm a prude Wink

. I think there's a big "sweet spot" in the human psyche for the slightly naughty theme and more guys will respond to that given that most of the guys in SL are probably innocent/good guy geeks and not real bad boys generally, maybe it won't drive "sales" though, I could be wrong.)
Grease (guys as snotty high school guys in leather jackets - girls in poodle skirts - although I don't think guys find poodle skirts sexy - neither do I Smile

Devil In A Blue Dress (all blue dresses and horns/tails)
Cat Scratch Fever (all cat ears and tails)
Playboy Mansion (break out the bunny ears/tails and fuck like ... well ... bunnies - although does that mean Helena will have to walk around in a smoking jacket with a pipe? Smile

Elvis Night (pompadors and guys swiveling their hips Smile

this could be combined with the Vegas night and we all dress as showgirls or something - this idea needs more coherence)
Auction Night (guys bid money to spend time with us for an extended period, do whatever they want, or something (not that they aren't already doing it) - dunno - just a random thought - maybe able to combine it with something later... just typing away)
Barbie & Ken Night (probably turn the guys off just by the name, but we all dress as busty blond bimbos - which *might* make up for the party name in their minds Wink

Speaking of dolls:
Doll Night (can't think of a better name for the idea, but basically we try on slutty outfits or have the guys tell us what type of slutty outfits they want us to wear and watch us put them on - lots of glimpses of skin - probably a completely unworkable idea - but anytime I can get to try on clothes and have guys ooh and ahh over me is alright with me Smile

Speaking of busty blonde bimbos:
Porn Star Night (come as your favorite porn star - I bet someone in SL makes big fake boobs - there's a lot of perverts in SL Smile

- I bet Shades would be there in an instant Smile

Vampire Night (guys as vampires - girls as helpless victims - I'm thinking more Bela Lugosi Dracula rather than the "baths of blood" vampire stuff I've seen in SL - that's too far out there to attract much attention [I hope])
Whips And Chains (wear your favorite whips, chains, and dominatrix outfits)
Snow Bunnies (*skimpy* fur outfits with tails and ears)
Gun Bunnies (dress as as your favorite "butch" girl with guns)
Which reminds me of Tomb Radier - have a cartoon hero/heroine night - come as lara croft... not that I can think of any other cartoon/game heroines - I don't play all those types of games - never even played Tomb Raider, but that crept into the general social sphere
Comic Book Night (superman, spider man, wonder woman, lots of spandex and big boobed girls - there have to be a lot of comic book fans in SL)
Matrix Night (all black latex and black shades - speaking of girls with guns Smile

More Non-Sexy Ideas:
Cold North (all furry - sexy, but covered up - boo)
Victorian/Edwardian Era (guys in nice suits - good, girls in big formal gowns [love those dresses and corsets] - good, all covered up - bad)

More Environmental ideas:
Aurora Borealis (from the far north idea - sparkly lights and snow on ground, throw in skimpy furry outfits and it *may* work)

More on the environmental ideas:
Since Helena controls the whole PL sim and can terraform it, would it be possible to leave a small section of it that can be changed for specific themes? I know it may be a little late to propose this because of all the building already planned, but there may be a corner somewhere that you've been trying to figure out "what do I put here?"

We could have a garden sometime for the Adam/Eve party or something like it.
A snowy area for ski bunnies/Aurora Borealis
Moonscape for a sci-fi, come as your favorite alien party.
Underwater - seaweed fronds, schools of fish, mermaids (I'm going to find an excuse yet to buy a mermaid avatar Smile

Beach party again, but on the beach, surf boards, Annette Funicello in "Beach Blanket Bingo" - hey that's a great name for the party - and the Bingo thought gives me another idea similar to the Easter Egg Hunt - some sort of contest in which the prize is a night with one of us - ooo, how about we have a bunch of beach blankets about and when you make out with someone on it you get a "ticket" and one of the tickets is chosen as the winner - it shouldn't be too hard to script that. Now the guys will be competing to get us onto the blankets, possibly tipping as an enticement for a big prize at the end)

On the whole winning/prize thing, Helena, perhaps we should find a way to run a "lottery" - buying tickets and the prize is a night with one of us, the house gets part of the pot and the girl gets part of the pot - everyone wins. Perhaps its a specific one of us perhaps its their choice - I think there's fundamental gold in this idea, it just need refinement.

Speaking of winning a night with one of us:
Boink The Beauty Queens Night (I like the title more than anything else Smile

- maybe the lottery could be for the attentions of the beauty queens, dunno, I just really like the party title, and I'd be willing to throw my body into the pot - especially if I get part of the pot if its a lottery Wink

- possible problem - do the other two winners "work" I know Seereina is a hostess and a wiz with the dance floor, but I can't recall if she's also an escort?)

Oh, to explain some of the rationale for some of my ideas, I'm going with the general flow of previous parties - slightly naughty, but not too outre. So, no vampire furry gorean parties - you think I'm making it up? Do a search for vampire and scroll down - there's a "Vampire Furry Gorean" group. A really specific kink.

Anyway, I have a lot of ideas for more general events and a general discussion of the business plan of Paradise Lost - discussions to which I've never been privy, but I have a number of ideas for. After the meeting I'm about to run off to and my lunch meeting, I'll try to type them in on another thread dedicated to more general business plans.

Ahh, this is what work should be about.... Procrastinating about making presentations, putting off on writing status reports, not figuring out project plans to write about sex and partying Smile
